Buffalo '77

Buffalo'77 were formed about a year ago through a common love of creating and performing music. The band consists of Jay Leighton singer/songwriter/guitarist, Pete Ainge/Drums and Graham "Steve Zeens" Ainge/Keyboards. The band have all known each other for years, played in various different bands before finally settling comfortably into Buffalo'77.

Rather than opting to tour and gig straight away the band locked themselves away in a rehearsing studio "It was important to us to lay a strong foundation of quality songs before hitting the road." says Pete. The time was was indeed well spent! The songs are full of hope and optimism that will quite simply draw you in.

"Buffalo'77 manage to be accessible without sacrificing any of their intensity. Which is an all-too-rare thing these days." Says Steve Lamacq Radio 1. Recently the band have been out on tour with The Rumblestrips playing the well respected Barfly venues up and down the country. With more shows coming up in the New Year and the brand new release of bands debut single "Won't forget", these are exciting times for the Buffalo boys.
